Sheep came onto the farm in the spring of 2013 to help with pasture management. They are rotationally grazed, moving to a new spot in the field or at the edge of the woods every few days. In winter they prefer being out in the snow, nibbling conifer needles and bark from fallen branches.
Currently their wool is used for home handspinning. We are planning to expand our flock in the spring of 2015.
